A new social scene can be difficult for children of all ages. Help your child adjust to new situations by encouraging open communication, supporting their transition, acknowledging your own difficulties, and working together. If your child is not adjusting, reassure them about their strengths and help put this experience in the broader perspective of all his social connections.

Lives Changed

Knowledge, education and support are what every parent needs. Unfortunately, parenting today is not the same as it was in my father’s day. The Family Tree really showed me that it’s an honor to be a parent, and a blessing, too.
