Plan a family night. Parents and children are so busy these days – why not set one special night every week when you do something together as a family? You could play a game, go to the movies, dine together out, or have an evening picnic in a park. Family activities promote positive communication and enduring relationships which are essential to a child’s healthy development.
My only peaceful haven is the after-school program run by The Family Tree. There, I can talk about my feelings with other young people and learn how to manage my anger.
