Children should never be carrying more than 15% of their body weight in their backpack. Make sure your child has a lightweight pack with padded shoulders and a waist belt and is using both straps to prevent back problems and bad posture.
The parenting program pushed me to come to terms with my own abilities and willingness to change because I wanted to for myself and I needed to as support for my girlfriend.
