Volunteers are critical to the success of The Family Tree. Thanks to more than 400 volunteers we are able to educate and counsel parents and caregivers who are under stress, nurture children, help fathers become involved in their children’s lives, plan fundraisers, friend raisers and much, much more!
Family Tree volunteers represent all kinds of people, from receptionists, social workers and teachers, to housewives and retirees. And they come to volunteer for many reasons. Some “just want to give back”. Others have been touched by abuse or neglect and want to help, while others work with children professionally and understand the need for prevention.
All of our volunteers receive free training, a quarterly newsletter, and the satisfaction of knowing they have made a difference in the lives of our children and families.
Take a look at the different ways you can volunteer.
