Learn More About Chef Correll

James Beard-nominated Executive Chef Michael Correll is a Bel Air, MD native whose passion for food began in his family’s kitchen. A graduate of the Art Institute of Philadelphia, he honed his craft at top restaurants including XIX at The Park Hyatt and Lacroix at the Rittenhouse.

Correll later led Baltimore’s Fleet Street Kitchen and helped open Tagliata and The Elk Room with Atlas Restaurant Group, earning national and local recognition.

Now Executive Chef and Partner at Ruse in The Wildset Hotel, St. Michaels, he showcases seasonal, sustainably sourced seafood and produce, blending classic French technique with global influences.

Chef Dru Tevis, the Season 9 winner of Food Network’s Holiday Baking Championship and a longtime favorite across Coastal Delaware. Raised in Westminster, MD, and spending summers in Rehoboth, he trained at the French Culinary Institute in Manhattan and worked alongside pastry greats like Christina Tosi of Milk Bar.

He has led pastry programs for SoDel Concepts and creates signature desserts for Thompson Island Brewing, Ocean View Brewing, and One Coastal, known for their creativity and unforgettable flavor.

Currently, Dru owns Brûlé Bakery, a pop-up bakery in Dewey featuring his favorite specialty baked goods. He uses local, seasonal ingredients — all crafted from a kitchen inside Baked by the Dewey Post.
